Iran War Live Update: US to Block Iranian Maritime Traffic in Strait of Hormuz, Tensions Escalate.

The Iran war live update reveals a major escalation as the United States military announces it will block all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports through the Strait of Hormuz, starting at 10:00 AM ET (14:00 GMT).

Iran has strongly condemned the move. The country’s armed forces stated that the US restriction on international waters is an “illegal act” and described it as piracy, further intensifying the ongoing Iran-US conflict.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, said recent talks with the United States in Pakistan failed due to what he described as Washington’s “maximalism and shifting goalposts.” The diplomatic breakdown adds pressure to an already volatile situation in the Middle East.

In a related development, the Israel-Lebanon conflict is also heating up. Israeli forces carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon, reportedly killing at least four people in Maaroub. Israeli troops have also taken control of all entrances to the town of Bint Jbeil amid ongoing clashes with Hezbollah.

The situation across the region continues to deteriorate, with rising casualties and growing fears of a broader Middle East war escalation.
